During his tenure at Pratt & Whitney Aerospace, Matthew served as the Director of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement, leading a team of over 65 Black-belt Engineers across seven national and three international plants. Under his leadership, the company saw a remarkable 43% increase in throughput of parts. This achievement not only reduced waste and improved efficiency but also shortened production time, significantly advancing the company’s operational capabilities. Additionally, he is a senior industrial council member and educator at the Gerson Lehrman group, where he educates C-level executives and directors in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and manufacturing leadership.
Mr. Nowell holds an MBA in Business Science from Troy University, where he graduated Magna cum Laude.
